This is everything from January, 2007 and onward. Before that, it'll be at Infinite Passions. Hopefully, some day, I'll get it all coded and up there. But until then...

Money's getting very tight, and I'm going to be cleaning out my bookshelves, etc. I thought I'd offer things up here, first, in case anyone's interested. I'm screening comments, or you can PM me if you're interested in anything.

Some DVD sets, to start with. )

If y'all could help a girl out, I want (need) some recs, and what I'm looking for is fairly specific:

Happy, loving, schmoopy Sam/Dean. (Only Sam/Dean at this point, because I'm in the midst of working on my Big Bang, which is J2, and I just...I need me some Sam/Dean, okay?)

I don't care if the story has angst in it, but it HAS to have a happy ending (which, in my world, means the boys are happily together -- what's going on around them isn't the focus). I don't care if it's G-rated, or NC-17, or everything in between. HAPPY AT THE END is the focus, here.

Any length of story is great, but shortish ones (under 10K) are probably better since I'm trying to focus on writing, and am thinking of these as rewards for getting sections done.

I just finished (re)reading [info]lazy_daze's But If You Ask Me Who (It's Always Been You), and that's just a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

Thanking y'all in advance :)

And now back to writing.
4th-Jul-2009 03:56 pm - really, why is it always my toes?
spn_puppy lost his shoe
Or my feet? Seriously.

Matthew had his dumbbells laying out, and I bashed my foot right into them as I was walking past. Left foot, bare of course because I'm inside, in my nightgown. I think the littlest toe might be broken -- it's bruising up pretty nicely (so is the area in between it and the toe beside it) and it looks kind of... at an odd angle. I mean, I don't know for sure, since I can still move it, after a fashion. But either way, I suspect wearing shoes come Monday is going to be problematical.

I told Matthew that while I know he didn't leave things deliberately where I might bash into them, this is exactly what I've feared would happen. Hopefully he'll do better now, keeping his things picked up and out of the way.

Ouch :(

Dear People in my Neighborhood:

The 4th of July isn't until SATURDAY. Please to be stopping with the firecrackers, etc., SOME of us have to get up and work tomorrow.

No love,

Me

I really hate that people start setting off the fireworks days in advance of the holiday. Grr.

1st-Jul-2009 08:54 pm - Okay, and so?
spn_sam whatever dude/wtf?
I keep seeing all these headlines that go something along the line of "Jackson's will leaked, ex-wife snubbed", or words to that effect.

And...so? I mean, why would his ex-wife be named in his will? His kids, sure. Friends, family, whatever. But, like, I don't expect Doug to name me for anything in HIS will, and I'm pretty sure neither my mom nor dad will name the other in their wills... So does it have to be headline-type news?

I just don't GET it.

I've now reached the stage in my Big Bang where I can't even tell if I'm still making sense, if it works, if it's ever going to be FINISHED, anything.

*stabs BB* *stabs self*

And in truly exciting (plz note the sarcasm) news, we got another person down in the property room today. (Y'all will remember that we get the injured, the ones who are on light duty, administrative leave, in trouble, whatever, right?)

Now we have Lt. Fifer. Who's currently being charged with (among other things) domestic violence.

Call me crazy, but I think it's a BAD idea to bring someone facing those charges into a largely female populated work place.

"Livejournal" means a lot of different things to people. For me, it's my primary source of entertainment, encouragement, love, support, information...and probably a hundred other things I'll think of after I post this :) So, here's my attempt to say thank you, and hopefully give everyone a little something to smile about.

Under the cut is a list of y'all, along with up to three words – adjectives, nouns, verbs, made-up words – to describe what I think of you/associate with you/feel about you. Each one is meant with love, from the heart, because you guys rock my world on a regular basis (also? I'm simply limiting the list to no more than three words, because otherwise I might never get this done/posted!). :) And if you're not listed, and there are a few, it simply means I don't know you well enough yet. We'll get there, though. I'm always learning new things about y'all :)

This is a story of my friends. )

Michael Jackson, dead from cardiac arrest.

I didn't care for him much, particularly with all the child molestation issues, but man. It's like...well. It's the end of an era. RIP, Michael. I hope your afterlife is less troubled than this life was.

RIP Farrah Fawcett, as well.

What a shock this day has provided.
